Middletown letter carriers to collect food on May 13

Letter carriers from Middletown will make their stamp in an effort to help collect food for people in need.

On May 13, the Middletown postal workers will participate in the Letter Carrier Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Residents are asked to leave a non-perishable food donation in a bag by their mailbox on the day of May 13. This drive marks the 25th anniversary of the food drive that is sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC).

The food collected that day will be sent to local food banks, according to a press from the NALC.
