The Township of East Brunswick is reminding residents who are holding a garage sale or yard sale to not post signs on utility poles.
Signs must be placed in the ground, according to a statement released by the East Brunswick Police Department. Additionally, signs advertising the sale cannot be displayed until one week prior to the sale and must be removed the day after the sale.
