Monmouth Museum to hold luncheon at country club

One of the flowers displays, titled All the Colors of the Rainbow’ at the annual New Jersey Flower and Garden Show held at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison on February 23. The annual event included vendors, demonstrations, along with various flower and garden displays.

The Friends of the Monmouth Museum will sponsor Bouquets and Ballads, a luncheon with entertainment by John Newman, at 11 a.m. on May 31 at the Eagle Oaks Golf Club, 20 Shore Oaks Drive, Farmingdale.

Newman, who is from Bouquets To Remember in Manasquan, is a floral designer and entertainer. He will perform a variety of songs while designing floral arrangements. Each arrangement that is created is a reflection of the song it accompanies. The Bouquets and Ballads luncheon includes audience participation and sing-a-long opportunities.

Everyone in attendance has a chance to go home with one of the bouquets. There will be a gift raffle and a 50/50 raffle.

Proceeds will benefit the Museum’s arts and education programs.
Individuals must reserve a spot in the event by May 22.
Tickets are $60 for members and $65 for non-members.
