Indivisible, a new grassroots movement, will meet at 7 p.m. on May 24 at the Knights of Columbus, 63 E. Lincoln Avenue, Jamesburg.

The organization, which had its first meeting on April 19, is part of a larger grassroots citizens’ movement that took root after the presidential election to actively counter negative aspects of President Donald Trump’s agenda.

The group’s goals are to express its concerns and priorities to elected officials, to promote progressive legislation and engage in ongoing actions to promote these issues on a grassroots level. Members are actively participating by attending rallies and demonstrations, initiating and signing petitions, writing letters and postcards and conducting calling campaigns to legislators.

For more information or to join the group, email indivisible.monroe.twp.nj@ gmail.com.
