Top reasons for purchases:
• 75 percent safety and comfort
• 68 percent energy efficiency
Smart homes across generations:
• Millennials want a home that’s convenient for daily living
• Gen Xers are looking to make their homes more healthy
• Boomers seek to increase the value of their homes
Spots for smart tech:
Kitchen – 47 percent
Entryway – 28 percent
Living Room – 25 percent
