The East Brunswick Public Library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center, will hold two programs about the effect aging has on cognitive health this month.

The first program, “Healthy Aging: Tips for Your Body and Brain,” will be held at 3 p.m. on June 14. The presenters will discuss the latest research on lifestyle changes and how to incorporate healthy habits into your daily routine.

The second program, “Alzheimer’s 101,” will be at 7 p.m. on June 28. Information about risk factors and warning signs, steps to obtaining a diagnosis and treatment options will be discussed. Planning for the future, coping with behavioral and other changes, and accessing community resources are also reviewed.

The library has partnered with the Alzheimer’s New Jersey for the program.

Both programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required by visiting www.alznj.org/services/community-education-programs/ by calling Alzheimer’s New Jersey at 888-280-6055 or by calling the library at 732-390-6767.
