The Summer Reading Program will kick off with activities and crafts for all ages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 24 at the Old Bridge Public Library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road, Old Bridge.

The theme of the program is “Build a Better World,” focusing on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) activities. The program will include a presentation by the ScienceTellers and their “Tall Ships and Pirate Tales” interactive program, and a “Build a Cardboard Town” where patrons work together to construct a cardboard town. There will also be a robotics presentation in the Idea Farm makerspace and representatives from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital will be on hand to provide health screenings.
