“History of the Holocaust” will offer a comprehensive, chronological history, including the legacy of anti-Semitism in Germany, the emergence of Nazism, victim groups and American policy on immigration in the 1930s and 1940s. It will also demonstrate the use of testimonies in the classroom.

The course will be taught by Dr. Joanna Sliwa, a historian of the Holocaust and modern Jewish history, and pedagogical consultant Colleen Tambuscio, an educator who has been involved in Holocaust and genocide education for more than 20 years.
