EAST BRUNSWICK – This summer, children will once again have the chance to earn a free Slurpee while having positive interactions with law enforcement officers from the East Brunswick Police Department.

Officers will “ticket” juveniles by rewarding them for good deeds, bicycle safety, constructive activities and acts of kindness, according to information provided by the department. Appropriate “offenses” might include helping another person or participating in a community- or police-sponsored event.

Each coupon from Operation Chill can be redeemed for a small Slurpee drink at participating 7-Eleven stores.
