God and Country Concert set for June 23

Nancy Scharff’s annual God and Country Concert and Benefit for Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, will take place on June 23 at the King of Kings Lutheran Church at 250 Harmony Road in Middletown.

According to the King of Kings Lutheran Church press release, admission to the concert is free, however a voluntary offering to benefit the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation will take place during the concert as well. The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation is a New Jersey based organization that aids children with cancer and their families, according to the press release.

Patriotic and Christian music will be performed by Nancy Scharff, The Ecumenical Choir, St. Peter’s Brass, and members of the King of Kings Band. The Men’s Ensemble and Women’s Ensemble will also provide special music this year. A special power point will also take place to honor veterans during the event, all according to the release. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
