The St. Bartholomew Knights of Columbus honored first responders from East Brunswick for their service to the community during the annual Gold Shield Awards Pancake Breakfast on June 4. This year’s recipients included former Chief Victor Romatowski of Brook View Firehouse, Fireman of the Year. Knight Jack Myatt presented the awards.
