Job seekers invited to workshop at East Brunswick Library on July 15

The East Brunswick Library will sponsor “Path to Employment: New Jersey Career Connections” at 10:30 am. on July 15 at the library, 2 Civic Center Dr., East Brunswick.

“Pathways to Employment” is presented through New Jersey Career Connections, a job search and career navigation service offered through a partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the New Jersey State Library.

At the program, trained librarians will explain how to conduct a successful job search using the New Jersey Department of Labor’s “Plan, Prepare, Succeed” model. Information about several resources will be given, including where to get more in-depth help to create a resume, cover letter or practice for a job interview.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is requested, but walk-ins are welcome. To register, call the library at 732-390-6767.
