Sayreville Little League baseball teams are quite active in tournaments this week.
The Sayreville 14U team knocked off Sayre Woods South, 6-0, last evening, July 10, in the District 10 final at the Old Bridge Little League complex. That victory enabled Sayreviile to move to the Section 3 Tournament that will start July 15 in Bayville. Sayrevile will play Berkeley Township in the opening game.
The Sayreville 12U team was defeated by Milltown, 4-3, in District 10 last night, July 10, in Old Bridge Sayrevile will now play Milltown again for the district title tonight, July 11, in Old Bridge.
The Sayrevile 10U team and will meet the winner of the July 11 game between Sayre Woods South and Woodbridge tomorrow, July 12, in the District 10 final, also in Old Bridge.
Old Bridge’s complex is located on Route 516.
