Charity drive set for July 22 at South Brunswick Library

The South Brunswick Republican Organization will hold a Charity Awareness Open House and Collection Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 22 in the library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
There will be speakers both talking about their mission and collecting items:
  • The South Brunswick Food Pantry (canned goods and unopened, not expired non-perishable food)
  • Jersey Cares (new backpacks and school supplies for children)
  • Franklin Township Animal Shelter (pet food and supplies)
  • Operation Jersey Cares (care packages for soldiers)
  • Operation Gratitude (care packages for veterans in need)
  • Jewish Family Services (new, unwrapped books and toys for children)
  • Let’s Play it Forward (new or gently used sporting goods and equipment)
  • United Way (new, unwrapped supplies for babies or children)
  • Purses Full of Hope (New or gently used purses with an accessory item and a note of encouragement to a woman recovering from abuse)
