The 12U Holbrook 12U Little League team advanced to the Section 3 championship game with its 8-6 victory over Sayreville last night, July 18, at the Hamilton Township Recreation Baseball Association’s Van Horn Park in Mercerville.
Holbrook, which plays out of Jackson, will meet the winner of tonight’s (July 19) Sayreville and South Wall game in the championship round on Friday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Van Horn Park.
A victory on July 21 will give Holbrook the Section 3 title.
If Holbrook is defeated on July 21, then it will play for the championship on Saturday, July 22, at 12 p.m. in Mercerville.
