Freehold Township Little League drops 1st game of World Series

The Freehold Township 13U Little League team lost its first game in the Intermediate 50/70 Baseball League World Series that started on July 30 and runs through Aug. 6 in Livermore, California.

The team fell, 3-2, against Danville, California. It will play on Aug. 1 at 9 p.m. against either Hawaii or Indiana.
