Binghamton University, State University of New York, Binghamton, N.Y., announced that the following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester: from Colts Neck – Marlee Shea Voter; from Englishtown – Kandace H. Kaplan, Alex J. Schwartzberg and Annabeth Sloan; from Freehold – Chase Berkowitz; from Marlboro – Amanda L. Gerstman, Lane E. Goldhecht, Joshua H. Lee, Daniel Pantelo, Emilie A. Pistilli and Adam T. Rafael.

Union College, Schenectady, N.Y., announced that the following students have been named to the annual dean’s list: Lisa Gu of Marlboro, Ruchi Raval of Colts Neck and Brian Shorr of Marlboro.

Alexis Janoczkin, the daughter of Donna Swenticky of Freehold Township, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester at Campbell University, Buies Creek, N.C. Alexis is majoring in pre-biology, with a minor in Spanish.

Brian Madden of Colts Neck has graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology, Charles V. Schaefer Jr. School of Engineering, Hoboken. Brian graduated with highest honors and earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in engineering. He is a 2012 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft.

Brittany Sklar of Marlboro, the daughter of Ellen and Rick Sklar, has been named to the dean’s list at Penn State University, State College, Pa., for the 2017 spring semester. Brittany is a rising sophomore and is a Human Development and Family Studies major.

Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, Pa., announced that the following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester: Rose Barrett of Freehold, Nicole Merolla of Englishtown, Christopher D’Alessio of Freehold, Andrew DeRosa of Freehold, Kristen Greene of Manalapan, Bianca Luscher of Manalapan, Megan O’Dowd of Colts Neck, Francesca Romano of Colts Neck, Rachael Salkin of Freehold, Samantha Spallanzani of Colts Neck, Paige Sulzberg of Manalapan, Andrew Teutonico of Morganville and Bethany Zaccaria of Colts Neck.

Julia A. Cavallaro of Freehold, a freshman in the Pamplin College of Business, has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va.

The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I., announced that the following area residents have graduated: Chelsea Taylor Roth of Manalapan, Samantha Sigfrid Rebehn of Manalapan, Victoria Rose Villafane of Manalapan, Alan Azmi Sidhom of Freehold, Tayler Rayne Reichert of Freehold, Nicole Christine Martino of Freehold and Gabrielle Caterina Dimino of Marlboro.

Christopher Fonte of Morganville was named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester at Cabrini University, Radnor, Pa.

Lisa Gu of Marlboro is working on a summer research program at Union College, Schenectady, N.Y. Lisa, who is a member of the class of 2019, is working in the Biology department on a project titled “Synthesis and Characterization of Quantum Dot Molecular Beacon Probes.”

Caldwell University, Caldwell, announced that the following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester: Emily Gene Braisted of Morganville, Delaney T. Boyer of Freehold, Laura Cugini of Freehold, Paul Marinello of Freehold, Christina Marie Lebron of Freehold and Erin Mary Flohr of Freehold.

MCPHS University, Boston, announced that the following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester: Devin Bachmann of Manalapan is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy; Priyanka Patel of Morganville is pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy; Marissa Levito of Morganville is pursuing a
Doctor of Pharmacy; Justina Ghigna of Morganville is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in diagnostic medical sonography; Larisa Bowser of Freehold is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in pharmaceutical and health care business.

Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y., awarded degrees to the following area residents: Kathryn Glickman of Marlboro, Master of Arts in speech-language pathology; Dominique Rainone of Manalapan, Bachelor of Science in video/television and film; and Michael Simon of Englishtown, Bachelor of Arts in criminology.

Dana Pelliccia of Manalapan has received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Albert Marco Carbonara of Manalapan has graduated from the Rutgers Business School, New Brunswick, with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is studying to become a certified public accountant. Albert is a 2012 graduate of St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel.

Jennifer Hailey Rowe of Freehold Township, the daughter of Bradley and Kelly Rowe, has graduated from the Temple University, Philadelphia, Pa., School of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. Jennifer was a member of Delta Zeta sorority, Delta Tau chapter, where she held the position of Academic Chair. She is a 2013 graduate of Freehold High School, Freehold Borough.

Harrah Rachel Newman of Morganville, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering at the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y., has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester. Harrah is the child of Michele Newman and David Newman and is a graduate of Freehold Township High School.

Monica Masterson of Freehold, a junior majoring in cell and developmental biology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y., has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester. Monica is the child of Margaret Masterson and is a graduate of Communications High School of Monmouth County, Wall Township.
