Since its opening in 1987, A Touch of Dance had established itself as an institution of quality training in the art of dance. The studio offers professional instruction to students ages two-and-a-half through adult in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern/contemporary, acrobatics, theatre dance and cheerdance.
Students of the school are afforded the opportunity to explore their desire to express themselves physically through movement with poise and confidence. Past and present students alike use their training to enhance themselves in both their personal and artistic lives. Many students use their talents by participating in various functions in their communities, such as school variety shows, productions and dance teams. Former students have performed in national tours, regional theater, Disney World, cruise ships, theme parks and several have returned as staff members, looking to share their love of dance that began for them as students of the school.
In the effort to meet the needs of all of its student’s desires, the studio offers both recreational classes and a competitive, award-winning dance team in a fun and friendly environment that encourages students to develop creatively, artistically and personally as they learn the art of dance.
