The Master Gardeners of Middlesex County will offer free demonstrations on the art of home canning to preserve fruits and vegetables at 6 p.m. Aug. 16 at the EARTH Center, located in Davidson’s Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Ave., South Brunswick.
Weather-permitting, the program will include a brief tour of the Master Gardeners’ extensive vegetable demonstration garden and a discussion of their best gardening practices.
All participants must pre-register by Aug. 11; no “walk-ins” are permitted.
