South River holds annual National Night Out event Aug. 1

The South River Police Department will hold its ninth annual National Night Out event from 5-9 p.m. on Aug. 1 at Denny Stadium, David Street, South River.

The event will feature giveaways, games, music, a dunk tank, emergency equipment displays, vendors, community organizations and other activities.

Entry to the event is free. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Ride and activity wristbands are $5.

Vendor cost is $25 per spot; free spots are available for non-profit or community organizations.
