K-9 demonstrations will be included, as well as an equipment display and basic first aid certification.

There will be tours of law enforcement facilities including the Situational Training and Response Simulator and the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Center.

“The Citizen Police Academy is a great opportunity for our residents to learn about the responsibilities of law enforcement and how we work together to keep our communities and county safe,” Sheriff Shaun Golden said.
