Classical guitarist to play Philippine music at Sayreville church on Aug. 20

Editor’s note: The date of the Jerry Dadap, Jr. concert was originally noted as Aug. 24. The concert will take place at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, at Sayreville United Methodist Church.
Sayreville United Methodist Church will hold a free guitar concert featuring composer and classical guitarist Jerry Dadap, Jr., at 5 p.m. Aug. 20 at the church, 406 Main St., Sayreville.
Music will include hymns, classical pieces and Philippine music for the guitar.
Light refreshments will be served.
There will be a free-will offering accepted for the church’s fundraising campaign for new carpeting in the sanctuary.
