WOODBRIDGE — Police are continuing to investigate a carjacking at gunpoint on Douglas Street in the Fords section of the township last week.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. on August 10, according to Police Captain Roy Hoppock.
The victim told police that she parked her vehicle in front of her residence. As she exited her vehicle two individuals approached her and demanded her car keys. One of the suspects then pulled out a handgun. The victim complied and gave up her car keys.
The two suspects then drove off with the victim’s vehicle described as a 2016 white Honda CRV. The victim was not injured.
