Tuna packets, protein bars needed for troops overseas

Football players and members of law enforcement hold up an American flag during a salute to law enforcement, military, veterans, first responders and the United States of America held prior to the game against Toms River North held at Middletown High School on October 21.

Chloe Rossmann, a junior at North Brunswick Township High School, has organized the “Help Me Keep Our Troops Energized” program, with the support of Military Connections, to collect tuna foil packets and individually-wrapped protein bars to send to troops overseas.

Donations can be brought to Janice Larkin, confidential assistant to the mayor, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at the North Brunswick Municipal Building, 710 Hermann Road.
