SOUTH AMBOY – The YMCA of South Amboy partnered with lawyers and paralegals for a day of fun and learning.
About 40 representatives of Fragoman, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy LLP of Matawan met with camp counselors and the CAMP SAY participants on Aug. 1 through the Jersey Cares program.
The lawyers taught campers how to use 3D plastic pens, paint on terracotta pots, play in an obstacle course in the gym, create felt hop-scotch mats and other enrichment activities in order to show the kids how to foster new relationships, build self-confidence and teach them new skills.
