The Monroe Township Library will host a solar eclipse watch party for children at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, at library, 4 Municipal Plaza.

In preparation for the event, the library has stocked up on NASA-manufactured glasses, protective gear made possibly through grant funding. Due to a limited supply of glasses, entry will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Following the watch party, attendees are invited to stay for eclipse-themed crafts, stories and snacks.
