WOODBRIDGE — Police are investigating a robbery at gun point at the Forge Inn last week.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:46 a.m. on Aug. 9, according to Police Capt. Roy Hoppock.
The on-duty manager told police that an unknown man entered the hotel lobby and asked for a room.
The manager replied “Yes” and at that point the man allegedly pulled out a handgun. The manager ran out of the lobby and when she returned the cash drawer was on the floor and an unknown amount of cash was taken, police said.
