Richard Carella will be one of the returning runners this season for the Monroe Township High School boys cross country team. Carella was the third finisher for the Falcons at last year’s Greater Middlesex Conference championship meet, finishing 53rd overall. Monroe finished 13th as a team in the 25-team field. The Falcons will open the season Sept. 12 with a tri-meet against Old Bridge and St. Joseph’s of Metuchen.
