The East Brunswick Library will hold a special author visit with Sabeeha Rehman at 7 p.m. on Sept. 13 at the library, 2 Jean Walling Civic Center Dr.
Rehman is the author of the 2016 memoir “Threading My Prayer Rug: One Woman’s Journey from Pakistani Muslim to American Muslim.” The book shares her reflections on what it is like to be Muslim in American society.
This author program is free and open to the public, thanks to co-sponsorship form the New Jersey Chapters of the Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom and the East Brunswick Human Relations Council.
