Old Bridge resident named to high level position at Columbia Bank

Mark Proudman of Old Bridge has been appointed first senior vice president of Retail Banking for Columbia Bank.

Prior to joining Columbia Bank in 1996 as regional branch administrator for the bank’s Central New Jersey region, Proudman served in a similar capacity at Central Jersey Bank, NatWest Bank and Fleet Bank.  He was appointed senior vice president of Branch Administration in 2009.

In his new position, Proudman will continue to manage the bank’s statewide branch network, including new branch site development.

Proudman has previously served as chairman of the Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce, as a commissioner of the Old Bridge Redevelopment Agency and as treasurer of the Old Bridge Economic Development Commission.
