The Suburban Artist Guild (SAG) will hold its first meeting of the 2017-18 year at 1 p.m. on Sept. 8 at the East Brunswick Library, Jean Walling Civic Center Dr., off of Ryders Lane, East Brunswick.
Activities will include a light luncheon, a display and discussion of art completed over the summer, and a mini flea market where members can sell their unwanted art supplies.
The group meets the second Friday of each month from September to June. At meetings, members view demonstrations from recognized artists, participate in workshops and exhibit in group shows. SAG welcomes new members to join. The group consists of artists at all levels from beginners to professionals.
Members are asked to bring $40 yearly dues to the meeting.
