National Drive Electric Week Event Sept. 9-17 at Metuchen Farmer’s Market

National Drive Electric Week Event will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Sept. 9-17, at the Metuchen Farmer’s Market, Senior Citizen’s Center, Center and Pearl Street, Metuchen.

Participants who complete a short survey will have a chance to win $250 and will help the organizers for this event.

For those considering going electric will get to talk to owners who have successfully made the switch, take a test drive and leave with some fresh locally grown produce.

Electric vehicle owners are encouraged to bring their plug-in vehicle.

National Drive Electric Week is a nationwide celebration to heighten awareness of today’s widespread availability of plug-in vehicles and highlight the benefits of all-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric cars.
