The visit was part of this month's Lifelong Learning lecture, “Watches & Warnings: The Impact of Mother Nature. Marshall, meteorologist for WCBS TV, was on-site to give an interactive presentation. Residents and attendees learned about how weather works via a mobile weather studio that was set up at the community.
The Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership will hold a membership meeting on at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19 at the Milltown Senior Center, 60 Violet Terrace, Milltown.
Speaker will be Sid Madison, who has offered to give a talk about climate change, science, and a range of solutions.
