Archaeological Dig at Thomas Edison’s Home Sept. 23

The Middlesex County Office of Arts and History will hold an Archaeology Open House
at Thomas Edison’s Home in Menlo Park on Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 37 Christie St., Edison.

There will be an archaeological dig in an attempt to locate the foundations of Edison’s home and any associated artifacts. The open house archaeology project will be conducted by the Middlesex County Office of Arts and History in conjunction with the Thomas Edison Center at Menlo Park and the Archaeological Society of New Jersey.
