She was a member of the Howell K-8 School District Board of Education from 2010-16, where she served terms as vice president and chair of the board’s labor committee.

Brennan is a native of Freehold Township and a mother of three. She maintains a private law practice in Howell.

“I am very honored and excited to be a part of this magnificent team,” Brennan said. “The Brookdale board is innovative and forward-thinking, and I appreciate that. I hope to use my skills and experience in both the law and as a former board of education member to help local students succeed and serve all members of the Monmouth County community.”

Brennan was appointed to a four-year term on the board by the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders. She replaces former trustee Joseph DiBella, who served on the board from 2013-17, according to the press release.
