Colts Neck

Colts Neck High School is still looking for some offense as it prepares to play at Marlboro High School on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

Colts Neck fell to 0-3 after a 43-13 loss to Long Branch High School at home on Sept. 23

Freehold

Quarterback Ashante Worthy had another impressive game for Freehold High School in a 42-0 victory against Neptune High School on Sept. 23 in Freehold.

Worthy recorded 187 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, while he also  rung up 114 yards through the air and had two other touchdowns.

Freehold (1-2) will travel to Manalapan High School on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. for its next game.

Freehold Township

Quarterback Nick Reardon threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns to help Freehold Township High School beat host Marlboro, 24-13, on Sept. 23.

The win improves the Patriots to 3-0 this season, with wins against Freehold and Colts Neck in the first two weeks.

The Patriots will play Neptune at home on Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Manalapan

Manalapan High School running back Naim Mayfield ran for 233 yards and three touchdowns in the Braves’ 34-13 victory over Old Bridge High School on Sept. 23 in Manalapan.

The Braves remain unbeaten at 3-0 and posted shutouts in their first two games against Marlboro, 44-0, and Southern Regional High School, 35-0.

The Braves will play Freehold in Manalapan on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

Marlboro

The Mustangs will have a chance to get their first victory of the season when they host Colts Neck, which is also winless at 0-3, on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

The Mustangs dropped to 0-3 after a 24-13 loss to Freehold Township on Sept. 23 in Marlboro. The team had lost to Manalapan and Pinelands Regional High School in its first two games of the season.
