Community cleanup set for Oct. 7 in South River

SCOTT FRIEDMAN — Jillian Dorsey, coordinator of the East Brunswick Youth Council leads student volunteers to keep their environment clean during the Lawrencebrook Watershed Partnership annual cleanup of Bicentennial Park and surrounding areas on May 6 in East Brunswick.

The South River Environmental Commission and the South River Shade Tree Commission will hold a Community Cleanup Day from 9 a.m. noon on Oct. 7.

Volunteers will meet at Fitzpatrick’s Field, Southside Avenue.
