Volunteers needed to come and assist with the second New Jersey Clean Communities Event to help beautify the parks in Milltown from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Oct. 7.
The scheduled improvements include painting pavement, painting picnic tables, perennial plantings and other items. The supplies pick up and sign in will be held at Borough Hall, 39 Washington Avenue, Milltown.
Gloves, garbage bags and recycling containers will be on site. Beverages and snacks will be served. Donations of plants or perennial flowers are welcome.
