Tri-Town News On Campus, Oct. 4

In commencement exercises on May 16, Fairleigh Dickinson University conferred more than 3,000 degrees on graduates, at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford. The following area residents earned degrees: Jessica Bock of Howell, Joseph Bock of Howell, Matthew College of Howell, Keith Blackston of Jackson, Peter Kuppler of Howell, Adam Sosnowski of Jackson, Fitz-Gregory Murrell of Howell, Matthew Porricelli of Howell, Patrick Shannon of Howell, Joseph Mandola of Howell, Jessica Cruz of Jackson, Emily Mills of Jackson, Brittany Staley of Jackson, Ephraim Hoffman of Jackson, Yosef Ashlem of Jackson, Adam Nadler of Jackson, Anthony Lamendola of Howell and Megan Vallejo of Howell.

The following students at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, Teaneck, have been named to the honors list for the 2017 spring semester: Nicholas Bock of Jackson and Daria Jones of Jackson.

Delaware Valley University, Doylestown, Pa., announced that the following students have been named to the 2017 spring dean’s list: Breanna Almeida of Howell, Taylor Potter of Howell and Rebecca Shannon of Howell.

Tyler Gdovin of Howell, a doctor of physical therapy student at University of the Sciences, Philadelphia, Pa., received a white coat at the 13th annual physical therapy white coat ceremony on Sept. 9. Gdovin continues on the path to receiving a doctor of physical therapy degree in May 2020.

Fairleigh Dickinson University students have been inducted into FDU’s Phi Zeta Kappa and Phi Omega Epsilon honor societies for the 2017 spring semester. Ayanna Tidwell of Howell has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Omega Epsilon honor society. Andrew Wood of Jackson has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Omega Epsilon honor society. Hailey Weigel of Jackson has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Zeta Kappa honor society.
