Anti-inflammatory diet discussion at Metuchen Library Oct. 12

An anti-inflammatory diet for optimal health discussion will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Oct. 12 at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Avenue.

Many common conditions including heart disease, diabetes, cancer and arthritis have been linked to chronic inflammation. Scientists are studying the connection between diet and inflammation in the body. Eating the right foods can help reduce inflammation in the body and improve health.

Diane Weeks, MS RD and Lorraine Antosiewicz, RDN will talk about the best way to control inflammation and participants can enjoy a demonstration and tasting of an anti-inflammatory recipe.
