The Monroe Township Cultural Arts Commission will present the Opera Lecture Series from 1-2 p.m. Oct. 11 at the Monroe Township Library, 4 Municipal Plaza.
Presented by Boheme Opera NJ with Jerry Kalstein as lecturer, the performance will feature aria and duets from “Happy 150th Birthday, Don Carla!” by Verdi by baritone, bass-baritone and bass soloists, including King Philip’s lamentation aria and the chilling Grand Inquisitor scene.
Registration is not required. Admission is free.
