The Sisters Network of Central Jersey and the Mid State Black Nurses Association of New Jersey will conduct a “Knowledge Is Power” forum about breast cancer at 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Avenue, Edison.
This presentation will discuss breast cancer experiences including diagnosis, treatment, recovery and the effects on personal relationships. This event is open to the public and sponsored by the Metuchen-Edison Area Branch of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People).
