The annual South Brunswick High School Viking 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on Nov. 5 at the school, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
The Fun Run begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the 5K at 10 a.m. and a Kiddie Dash at 11 a.m. Walkers welcome.
The fee is $25 for the 5K ($22 for USATF members) if postmarked before Oct. 29 or $30 on race day (no discount). The fee for the Fun Run is $20 for adults or $12 for children under 10. The Kiddie Dash is free, or $10 with a t-shirt.
Trophies will be awarded by age groups. There will also be a family award presented to the three family members with the lowest cumulative time. Family members can run together or separately; the combined time for the team will be calculate. No same day entry for Fittest Family teams.
