The Old Bridge Public Library and the Garden State Speculative Fiction Writers  will host four writing workshops to celebrate November’s National Novel Writing Month.

The events will begin in October with two sessions preparing writers for a productive November. The first session is on Oct. 12 “Get Motivated to Start Your Novel” and the second session is on Oct. 26. The sessions are from 7-8:30 p.m.

The kickoff will be Nov. 1 and a halfway there writing session will be held Nov. 15.

The writers group caters to the needs of a wide variety of writers. The group hosts monthly meetings, critique sessions, sample copy libraries and contests. Their meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month at the Old Bridge Library.
