Although I am a member of the Freehold Borough K-8 School District Board of Education, I am speaking as a resident of Freehold Borough. Sen. Jennifer Beck’s record of standing up for Freehold Borough residents and children is second to none.
As a Freehold Borough school board member, I have worked hand in hand with Sen. Beck for more than a decade to draw attention to our unique struggles.
In both Republican and Democratic administrations, Sen. Beck’s knowledge and passion for our children have persuaded officials to add additional funds to our overcrowded and desperately underfunded schools.
Most recently she helped us secure more than $25 million in capital dollars for the renovation of the Park Avenue school and our Early Learning Center.
Our parents, teachers and administrators have joined Sen. Beck in Trenton on multiple occasions as she relentlessly made our case before the Assembly and Senate budget committees.
She has brought five different commissioners of education to our schools to ensure they understood the plight of our students.
Our children should not be used as a political football in an election season. There is no stronger advocate for Freehold Borough than Sen. Jennifer Beck and I hope you will join me in supporting her this November.
