East Brunswick to hold World War I exhibit Nov. 12

The East Brunswick Historical Society will host a speaker series and exhibit on World War I at 2 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Historical Society House, 78 Milltown Road, East Brunswick.

Howard Schmidt, a lawyer who is the program chair of the Historical Society and a current member of the East Brunswick Planning Board, will discuss America’s entry into World War I. George Francy, journalist and history enthusiast, will speak about local veterans of World War I. Ronald F. Stryshak, Navy Lakehurst Historical Society assistant curator, will discuss his numerous artifacts and memorabilia collected throughout the years, which will all be on display.

Additional World War I memorabilia from private collections will be on display.
