Sometimes elections are too important to look at candidates solely by their party affiliations. This year is one of those years for residents in Freehold Borough. As a Democratic councilman in Freehold Borough, I am proud to cross the aisle and endorse Sen. Jennifer Beck.
Sen. Beck’s long record of fighting for Freehold Borough’s children and independent track record make this endorsement easy. Sen. Beck has proven to be an effective voice for Monmouth County, obtaining $25 million in capital funding aimed at expanding schools for Freehold Borough.
She has been instrumental in bringing additional funding to our long-underfunded school district under governors from both political parties.
Freehold Borough needs effective advocates for our residents and our children. Sen. Jennifer Beck is exactly the kind of senator we deserve. I urge my fellow neighbors to stand with me on Nov. 7 and vote for someone who is on our side – Sen. Jennifer Beck.
