Neve Shalom will be the host to an Artist in Residence weekend with Artist Mordechai Rosenstein Nov 15-19 at the synagogue, 250 Grove Avenue, Metuchen.
Since 1979, Mordechai Rosenstein has been creating Jewish Art and putting it in people’s homes, synagogues, and agencies throughout the world.
The Hebrew alphabet is the very essence of the Mordechai’s art. His love of these forms is evident in every work of art he creates. Using vibrant shapes and colors, he has enhanced synagogues and numerous commercial and private estates throughout the country.
There will be events throughout the weekend geared towards all ages. A Pinot and Painting event will be co-sponsored by Neve Shalom’s Mens Club and Sisterhood at 7 p.m. Nov. 18.
