Legendary Coach Hurley to talk about basketball, life goals in East Brunswick on Nov. 12

Hall of Fame basketball coach Bob Hurley, who earned national notoriety – and 28 state championships – during his legendary 40-year coaching career at St. Anthony High School in Jersey City, will be the next speaker in the Daniel Pearl Education Center (DPEC) Speaker Series at 12:30 p.m.  on Nov. 12 at Temple B’nai Shalom, 15 Fern Road, East Brunswick.

Hurley’s talk will be a combination of basketball and youth coaching information, anecdotes from his career and observations on how to continue to assist underprivileged youth in achieving their basketball, sports and life goals.

The cost to attend is $10, with all proceeds being split between the Hurley Family Foundation and the DPEC.
