Gently used shoes can help create meaningful opportunities that many people in developing nations need. Honor Yoga is collecting shoes to help those less fortunate around the globe. Used and new shoes may be dropped off at Honor Yoga through Nov. 30. Area locations are Honor Yoga Jackson, 21 South Hope Chapel Road, Jackson, and Honor Yoga Manalapan, 123 Route 33, second floor, Manalapan. The shoes will be delivered to Soles4Souls, a nonprofit social enterprise that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world.

Manasquan Bank Charitable Foundation, an affiliate of Manasquan Bank, brought local organizations together for its third quarterly Charitable Foundation meeting of 2017. The breakfast event was a chance for community members to learn more about Manasquan Bank’s philosophy for its future success and commitment to its community-based partners. Notably, at the breakfast event, those receiving an annual grant from the foundation included CFC Loud N Clear Foundation, RallyCap Sports, Wall Soccer Club, Social Community Activities Network – SCAN, Make-A-Wish New Jersey, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Monmouth County Historical Association, Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, Allaire Community Farm, Academy Charter High School, Sunshine Girls, Stomp the Monster, Just Us Girls, Brick Rotary Club, New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault, IHN of Ocean County, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation – New Jersey Chapter, Crimson Knights Foundation, John Callahan Memorial Sailing Fund and The Arc of Monmouth Inc.
